Nightstand Books: August Edition

Hello, dear Reader. It's the first Wednesday of the month and time for another Nightstand Books update.Unfortunately, I don't have a lot to report. I'm still working my way through the first book of the Mistborn trilogy by Brandon Sanderson. I took a brief break to read Five Enchanted Roses, and then right back to it. My husband is reading Firefight (the sequel to Steelheart, also by Brandon Sanderson) and it's making me very jealous. I may take another break from Mistborn when he finishes it, because I don't know if I can wait until I finish the Mistborn trilogy...I'm sorry I'm not more entertaining today. How about you?
