UPCOMING POSTS

Just wanted to let you know that I am planning on being more intentional about blogging over the next month or so. After the April challenge I just needed a bit of a break.

However, I have a couple of series of posts lined up. I really enjoyed doing the Kamarie and Yole posts, and figured it might be fun to do a whole series of posts on characters from my books. So be on the lookout for posts about Oraeyn, Brant, Dylanna, and possibly Kiernan Kane, as well as a few of the characters from the books that are currently my works-in-progress! I'll probably post these on Monday (Meet the Characters Monday).

I also want to do something like a "writing tidbits" series... I'm thinking about random useful information about writing. Topics such as Outlines, Battle Scenes, character creation, and editing may be just a few of the topics I will cover... the possibilities are endless. I was thinking these would post these on Wednesday (Wednesday Writing Ruminations) (I like clever alliterations... can you tell?) hahaha

A third series I may do is a "Best Loved Book" saga, which could keep me occupied for years. In this series I will talk about some of my all-time favorite books and why I love them. Sort of a "book review" concept, but all books that I have loved my entire life (and maybe a few new ones that have stolen my heart). I'll post these on either Tuesday or Thursday... or Friday if I don't have a Featured Artist to write about. I don't have a clever alliterative day of the week for these, but I hope you'll enjoy the posts anyway.

So that's what my plan is for this blog at least for the near future (it should take up at least a couple of weeks). We'll get started on that probably next week. Stay tuned tomorrow for an interview with Donna Childree, author of The Wayward Gifted.

And, of course, I will keep you apprised of the status of SECOND SON as we near our release date!!!!!

In the meantime, if there is ever anything you would like to see me post about, dear reader, you are always more than welcome to suggest blog topics!
