Launch Party!

Happy Thursday, dear Reader! I hope you are having a marvelous week. Warning, I may overuse exclamation points in this post. It's a problem of mine when I get too excited, and though I am going to attempt to refrain, I make no promises! (<---See?)If you've been paying attention at all, then you are already aware that Five Enchanted Roses officially releases on MONDAY! If you pre-ordered the book, you might already have your very own copy. I pre-ordered a few to give as gifts to some family and friends and they arrived on my doorstep this past Sunday, which was a glorious surprise, and very unexpected. I expected them a little early, I'll admit. I've pre-ordered books before, and Amazon is first and foremost a book-selling company, so they know much of their audience is waiting with baited breath for the next book from their favorite authors! But I didn't expect them that early. I began reading the book immediately (I hadn't read any of the other stories yet) and I have to say, so far, I am completely in love with these stories. Kaycee's "Esprit de la Rose" is an absolute favorite, and I stayed up waaaaaay past my bedtime last night to finish Savannah Jezowski's "Wither," because it completely sucked me in and I could. not. put. it. down! Creepy, chilling, beautiful, and with heroes I couldn't help but love... I had to find out how it all ended up. Oh, dear Readers, I can't wait until we can discuss these stories!Anyway, if you're on facebook, you may have heard rumblings about an exciting event happening on our launch date of July 27. A Facebook Chat Party!And if you haven't heard, well, it's a good thing you stopped by today, because I'm going to tell you all about it.First of all: Whether or not you've read any of the stories in Five Enchanted Roses yet.... YOU'RE INVITED! Yes, YOU! We'd love to have you there, dear Readers. And please, feel free to spread the word and invite your friends.Second: What exactly IS a "Facebook Chat Party"? Well, I'm so very glad you asked!A facebook chat party is kind of like the old Instant Messaging Chat Rooms - where lots of people can gather online and hold written conversations with one another in real time. There will be no sound, no video (bonus! You can come in your PJs and nobody will know). But we'll all be on facebook at the same time and you can ask questions or make comments or share pictures (if you have any fan art, for example, that you'd like to share - or perhaps a picture of you holding your shiny new copy of Five Enchanted Roses, perhaps?), and have your questions and comments responded to in real time. It's very fun, I promise!Third: The DetailsWhere: On Facebook - that link should get you there.When: The party will be July 27th, from 7:00pm - 9:00pm EDT and each author from the Five Enchanted Roses project will be hosting one half-hour segment. The schedule will be as follows -6:55pm - Anne Elisabeth will do the opening ceremony, give some guidance and direction, and introduce the event7:00 - 7:30 - Kaycee Browning will be hosting7:30 - 8:00 - Savannah Jezowski will be hosting8:00 - 8:30 - Jenelle Schmidt (yours truly) will be hosting8:30 - 9:00 - Dorian Tsukioka will be hosting9:00pm - Anne Elisabeth will come back to wrap up the eventSadly, Hayden Wand will be unable to join us, but if you have questions or comments you'd like to direct her way, I'm sure she'd welcome conversation over on her blog.We have so many fun things planned, I don't know how we're going to fit it all into a mere two hours! But, we are each being featured on Anne Elisabeth's blog throughout next week, so make sure you swing by there for even more fun.I don't want to give too much away, but I've been working on quite a few fun things to share about Stone Curse (in case nobody shows up or asks questions... seriously, this is a phobia of mine... so please, come... and please... um... ask questions!
