New Year Nightstand Books

It's been a while since I posted a Nighstand Books post. Tomorrow, I will be sharing my "Best Books of 2018" list with you, but today, let me share with you the first books I'll be reading in the New Year!Nightstand Books 2019So Sang the Dawn by Ann Marie Pavese - I've been wanting to read this one for a while, now, and I'm excited to finally be starting it! Part of the reason I'm starting the year off with this one is because the author is having a "how fast can you read my massive book" challenge, and... well... reading fast is one of the very few things I'm actually rather good at. So... I couldn't resist! If you want to join the fun, you can join the reading group HERE! Ms. Pavese has kindly made the e-book version available for free to those taking the challenge... and even though I have the paperback, I decided to take her up on that offer, which is why I've got my kindle on the stack... as this is one case where I will happily admit that reading this tome on my paperwhite will definitely be easier on my hands/wrists!Second Son by Yours Truly - for the Read Along, of course! Don't forget to snag your copy for free on Amazon so you can join in that fun, as well!Tomb of the Sea Witch by Kyle Robert Shultz - This one snuck onto my nightstand between the writing of this post and it actually going live...  and I'm also reading it on my kindle, so it's technically IN the picture. So far, I'm enjoying it even more than The Beast of Talesend, which is saying something! And that's all I've got on my nightstand for the foreseeable future. What books are you reading in the New Year?
