PARTIAL COVER REVEAL

I just wanted to hop on here and say that I have a couple of exciting things lined up here in the next couple of days. Tomorrow I will be sharing my entire Entry Point that I wrote for the Battle of Ebulon. So you get to read a 4,000-word short story about Brant and company for FREE! (not that it would cost you anything to download the entire collaboration, which is also perpetually free... haha)

Since that's a longer post, I won't be posting anything here this Friday. Hope you enjoy the story tomorrow and have a great weekend! I'll see you back here bright and early Monday morning... which is when... instead of doing a new Meet the Character post, I will be doing a partial cover reveal for Second Son. It won't be the entire cover, or even the entire back cover - it will simply be a sneak peek at one of the images that will be on the back cover. My cover artist is reworking the design a little bit, so I'm only going to be able to give you a tiny portion of what she's been working on (and it is from the Rough Draft, not the Final Draft... but I thought you might enjoy seeing a little glimpse of what she's working on!) We've had a few speed bumps along the way - which have delayed our release date by a bit, but we are working as hard as we can to get it into your hands, I promise.

Later on in August, I'll also share with you the finalized "blurb" which would normally be the back cover text, but, as with King's Warrior, this information will be on the first page of the book when you open it instead of on the back cover (I just couldn't bear to cover up the beautiful dragon she painted me...) Besides that, our goal with the covers for the Minstrel's Song series has been, and will continue to be, to create covers that are complete works of art - not just a gorgeous front cover with a back cover sort of slapped on.

I hope you have all had a spectacular July! Seriously, I have no idea where it went. Months keep leaving me in the dust.
