It’s finally here…
Second Son is now live in the Audible store!
It has been a dream come true getting to produce these audiobooks for you. And I honestly cannot say enough about how incredibly fun it has been working with Benjamin Fife on this massive undertaking.
(Seriously, if you’re an author who’s been on the fence about getting into audio, you might want to hire him now before he gets too famous and expensive)!

Praise for the King’s Warrior Audio Book
King’s Warrior is a classic style of fantasy novel. It feels quite Tolkien-esque to me, so if you love the style of the great J.R.R., this is a book you should check out. I really enjoyed the narration. Benjamin Fife’s voices are fantastic. I loved his dragon voices in particular! He has a pleasant, warm, flexible voice, and it was very well suited to this story.
The book is well written, the world well thought out, and the characters on the quest likable and realistic. Even better, the narrator of the audiobook really added to the experience. He had the perfect blend of changing voices for different people just enough that it flowed naturally without feeling like he was trying too hard.
This is the tenth book I have listened to by this narrator ( Benjamin Fife ) and I would definitely listen to another. He uses various accents to great effects. They are smooth and natural. He has a wide array of character voices, both male and female, and they are all well done. His creature voices are also appropriate. He has a woman sing a couple songs in book. She had a very lovely voice.
He is the absolute best at dragon voices. He does great with the people voices as well. He is my all time favorite narrator.
If you like YA fantasy, this is an amazing book and worth your time. Benjamin Fife narrates this book. He is amazing! He even wrote the period music in the production. The best part of the music is that he used it very sparingly, and it perfectly complements the book. If I could change one thing about this book, it would be nothing. I cannot wait for the second book in the series to come out on audio.
