SPEAKING OF FORMATTING

Second Son is almost complete!Things That Have Been Checked OFF My To-Do List:

• Cut and paste entire text into correct page dimensions
• Change font
• Format chapter titles
• Format first letter of each chapter
• Make sure Tabs are correct (this is by far the most frustrating things
• Find and replace “All Right” typos
• Find and replace many uses of “before him” if necessary
• Format Segues
• maybe make bottom margin slightly smaller
• glossary
• add sneak preview of book three (Title of book 3 will be revealed in this sneak preview!!!!!)

Things Still On My To-Do List

• write dedication
• write back cover blurb
• incorporate any last minute changes from my beta readers
• have my final editor look over everything to make sure all formatting is correct, consistent, and ... can't think of another word that starts with a "c" that means "pleasing to look at"... oh well.

SO, hoorah! The tedium is almost over, and I am just about ready to submit the interior to Createspace!And tomorrow I'm kicking off a new series of author interviews with the authors I had the privilege of collaborating with on the "Battle for Ebulon" project. We'll be starting out with Shane Porteous, the man behind the curtain, as it were.
