WRITING GOALS FOR 2014

New Year's Resolutions. They're all the rage this time of year. But this post is not about anything new, not really a list of "resolutions" even. It's just a list of things I am planning to accomplish this year as an author. I can't find my list of things from last year, but I'm sure there were things that didn't get done, for example: I believe I planned to edit book 3 of The Minstrel's Song this past year, and I didn't get around to that... and I planned to write 30,000 words during the month of November for Nanowrimo... and I didn't do that, either.But there were also things I did last year that weren't even on my radar in January. I never thought I'd write a re-telling of Cinderella, or participate in a Blog Scavenger Hunt with 31 other amazing authors!So what does 2014 hold? I have no idea. But here are my personal WRITING goals:1. Publish Second Son!2. Edit "Book Three" of the Minstrel's Song (sorry, not revealing the title until Second Son is out)3. Edit "Book Four" of The Minstrel's Song4. Begin writing (the official goal is to COMPLETE the book) the first book in my Sci-Fi series (more info coming on that soon!) Obviously there is lots of editing and quite a lot of writing on that list. I believe there's room for additions and detours, but that is what I am hoping to accomplish in the coming year. What are some of YOUR goals for 2014?
