SEE YOU NEXT YEAR

Well, it seems that the "in" thing to do is create a reflective post about the year that is about to end... and while I've never been part of the "in" crowd... I figured, why not?2013 was a pretty good year, all things considered.-I finished editing Second Son (and am hoping to hear about the finished painting for the cover later today!!!)-I participated in my first ever blogging challenge (the April A-Z blogging challenge) and completed said challenge (if you're interested in reading any of those posts, you can start HERE)-I finished writing The Orb and the Airship-I wrote and revised and submitted a 20,000-word short story for the Glass Slipper contest-I had a highly successful Kindle promotion in which I had 3,315 downloads of King's Warrior! (More details HERE)-I sold over 60 e-copies of King's Warrior since the October Promo and about a dozen copies of the paperback throughout the year-I participated in my first-ever Author/Blogger Scavenger Hunt and gave away 4 copies of my book and "met" some other wonderful authors and found some fabulous new books to read! So, in all, even though the sales from Jan-Sept were pretty slow (read: non-existent), it was still a pretty fun and wonderful year as far as my authing career goes! :) I am looking forward to 2014 with hopes and dreams and excitement. But I'll go into more about what some of my writing/publishing goals for 2014 are after the New Year.I hope you had a wonderful year, dear Reader, and I wish you all the best in 2014.See you next year!
