Beauty and the Beast Playlist

I don't always write to music. In fact, I almost never write my rough drafts while listening to music. When I'm drafting, I tend to stop and start so often, get up, act out the scene, try to get into the heads of my characters... wearing headphones would get annoying. I'd be hitting "pause" more often than not. The sounds around me, the sights, the ability to get up and go outside... all are things I need to get through that rough draft. Upon occasion, if I hit truly horrible writer's block, I may switch on something... usually Christmas music. But I don't usually write to music. It's not really that I don't want to, or have anything against it, most of the time I simply don't think of it.However, I find it to be extremely useful to listen to music while I am editing. When I'm editing, I am more often in need of blocking the rest of the world out. I try to find music that reflects the tone of the story I'm working on - soundtracks, celtic music, instrumental (specific kinds of instruments for different stories).Stone Curse is no exception. As I've been editing, I've most often been listening to these two CDs. They are two of my favorites, which makes them easy to listen to. And both have some haunting undertones - though that isn't the main feel - which makes them appropriate for the tone of the story, as well.https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL15E34C4AAC770C77 https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLO15Ve7_kxEG7DNUNvdEojmfLzLJUxwYV
