Eep! I've been tagged! My friend and Kindred Spirit, Deborah, tagged me for this happy game of tag that another blogger I love, Shantelle@A Writer's Heart created, and it looks like fun, so I'm going to participate.

Hmmm, that's a tough one. I've read a lot of good books this year, and several of them for the first time. I'm going to have to go with:
And The Last Motley by DJ Edwardson, which was a beta read and doesn't have an official cover yet... but still up there in the category of "Best Books I've Read This Year" - seriously can't wait for that one to come out in its finished form.
4) What Genre Have You Read Most This Year?
Looks like Fantasy is still in the lead, though I've read a lot of books with Leiana for school that are more "historical" or "legend" or just straight up "literary fiction" than I normally read.
5) What Genre Have You Read Least This Year?
Meta-fiction, I guess? I mean, if you want to go with "genres I never read at all" we could say "Romance" or something... but "least" sort of has a "you've read something of it, but not much" connotation, I guess.
6) What Genre Do You Want To Read More Of?
I really want to read more of those Christian Heroes: Then and Now series... so I guess those are biographies? Which is weird, for me, because I'm not a huge fan of non-fiction reading for fun. I'd also like to read more meta-fiction, but it's harder to find, and even harder to find it done really well.
7) How Many Books Have You Read This Year, And What’s Your Goal?
Goodreads says I've read 13 books. My goal over there is 25.
Of course, this doesn't count the 47 times I've read "Dear Zoo," "Peek-a-Who," "That's Not My Puppy," and "Baby's First 100 Words" each in the past week alone. Because this:

Only one. But I already had 2 out that I haven't read yet!

13) Who’s An Author You’re Hoping Writes More?
Um... all of them.... ? But right now I'm specifically hoping for more books by Kaycee Browning, Savannah Jezowski, DJ Edwardson, and Deborah O'Carroll. Some of them don't even have one book out yet, but these are all authors with stories I love and I really hope to see more from each of them.
14) A Few Books Your Heart Adores?
Kind of an oddly ecclectic group of books, now that I look at them all together. Huh. I could go on... but these are... defining, in a way, so I'll leave it at that.
15) What Series’s Coming Conclusion Makes You Sad?
Hmmm. I don't know of any books that I'm currently reading that have the end book coming. The last series conclusion that made me sad when it came out was... um... hm. Probably as far back as Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. The Wheel of Time ending just felt like, "Finally!" and I was sad about the end of the Queen's Thief trilogy... but she's written two more books for that and I haven't read book #5 yet... so, Yippee!
When Tales of Goldstone Wood ends... that will be heartbreaking.
