Fantasy Fan Art Contest
I've talked about the Clean Indie Reads Group over here a couple of times. Well, today I have very exciting news! The fantasy authors from the CIR group have banded together to create a sub-group of our own that is just focused on Fantasy! We have our OWN WEBSITE and everything! Check it out!The Clean Indie Fantasy (or Fellowship of Fantasy, as we've taken to calling ourselves) will be having giveaways and contests going on and all sorts of fun stuff. Right now, for example, we have a marvelous art contest happening, and later this month there will be an awesome giveaway and facebook party, so keep an eye out for news about that.
The authors comprising the Fellowship of Fantasy have the best readers.They are discerning readers (obviously). They are clever readers (undeniably). Are they also creative readers?How could they not be?Because of these indisputable facts, we are hosting our very first Fellowship of Fantasy Fan Art Contest!
Submissions are being accepted NOW through May 1st.Art is broadly defined, but for the sake of this contest we’ve divided it into four categories (along with a separate category for young artists).The categories are as follows:Cosplay/costumeWriting: Stories/Poems/EssayVisual Art: Painting/Drawing/Sculpture/Textile Art/PhotographyMultimedia: Video/Audio/Music/AnimationJuvenile Art: all of the above but the applicant must be 15 or under.Each category will have a category winner who will receive a Fellowship of Fantasy T-shirt. From the category winners we will select a grand prize winner who will also receive a $20 Amazon gift certificate!
