FRIENDS IN UGANDA
Hello, dear reader.
Today's post is not about books or movies or anything like that.
It is about my friends. I've told you about them before. There's a button on the sidebar of my blog with their picture. They are the Dingles. And they are currently in Uganda with all six of their children (2 biological, 1 adopted from Taiwan, and the 3 siblings they are in the process of adopting from Uganda). Today they have been in Uganda for 6 weeks. They are hoping to come home on Friday.
For the past six weeks, they have all been living together in a single room at a guest house.
Would you join me in praying for them? One of their children has malaria, another one had malaria before they got there, another has typhoid, one of the precious children they are adopting is HIV positive, all three of the children they are adopting are malnourished, and all of them have been dealing with some kind of stomach flu-bug type thing for the past few weeks. In other words, they are becoming a family by walking through fire together.
Add to all of that, the funds they raised before they left did not account for the two weeks of delays and having to buy plane tickets during a holiday season that occurred AFTER they got to Uganda.
So... would you please join me in praying for them? Praying for restored health for everyone in the Dingle family, and for no more delays, and that they would be able to come HOME this Friday as is currently planned, and that God would provide the extra $2,500 that they are currently in need of?
Thank you, dear reader.
