Thankful

 Happy Thanksgiving, dear Readers! I hope you all have a marvelous day with family and friends, and taking a moment to thank the Lord for His blessings.This year, I am especially thankful for:The Lord Jesus Christ and His saving work on the cross, without which, I would be completely lost.My wonderful husband who is so supportive and encouraging of me and is my best friend.My three adorable children, each one is a true gift in my life.My family - all of whom are my best friends in the world, and I do not know what I would do without them. And the fact that I have hands-down the best in-laws in the world, all of whom I love to pieces and get along with splendidly. And the fact that my husband's parents are flying in to spend the weekend with us today!My dear good friends, many of whom I miss desperately right now, but am so thankful for modern communication technologies that make them seem closer.My husband's new job. And our new home in Wisconsin.Everyone in my immediate family being back in good health for the holiday weekend.A warm home.Good food to eat waiting in the refrigerator to be made (we'll be celebrating with the big Thanksgiving meal tomorrow).My daughter's ability to make friends anywhere.Good books.And so many other things I just don't have time to list here."Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows."
