Water Princess, Fire Prince Cover Reveal

Good afternoon, dear Reader. I hope you're having a lovely week, staying cool, getting rest. Here in NC it is blazing hot and I've been super busy all week telling 5 year olds Bible stories. Which is why this post is a bit late... but today I am pleased to be part of another one of Kendra's cover reveals!I'm very excited about this book, but instead of telling you how excited I am, I'll just let Kendra tell you what it's about and then we'll see the cover!

When the Lady Dragon does come,Hold fast, do not fear, do not run.Your Water Princess will fight,Fire Prince will set all to right. Each shall come from a Fall,Their union will save you all.

Despite the fact that she's on track for competing in the Olympics, and he's practically raised his younger brothers since they lost their mom in a car accident, Clara Mandras and Andrew Stevenson are pretty much normal teens. They have normal hopes, normal dreams, and they live in a normal world. All this is torn away from them when they are thrust into another world and declared Water Princess and Fire Prince. With no experience ruling a country, meeting each other for the first time, and being expected to fight the Lady Dragon – an evil sorceress plaguing the world of Rizkaland – Clara and Andrew are underprepared and inexperienced. Unless they learn to work together despite their standing opposition, Rizkaland's hope will be lost. What is to come will change their lives forever.

Water and Fire

I had the chance to ask the characters one question about their book.

So, Clara and Andrew, what do the two of you think of this book?

Clara: It's terrible. An indie book. Just as I always feared!
Andrew: Uh, Clara, I believe the question was more about the story itself, and not it's manner of publication.
Clara: And would you just look at that cover? I'm blue. Do I look blue to you, Andrew?
Andrew: Uh, no. I think it's supposed to be symbolic ... Water Princess, after all.
Clara: And you have ramen noodles for hair. Which is disgusting any way you look at it.
Andrew: It's supposed to be fire ... Look Clara, we're not here to complain about the cover, we're here to talk about the story, and honestly it's not a bad one, right?
Clara: Well, compared to that Sew, It's a Quest, perhaps not. It has me in it, after all, instead of that clueless Robin.
Andrew: Ah, yes. There is that. And, also, neither of us would exist if it weren't for this book. We're characters after all.
Clara: But ... Oh, well, I guess.
These characters sound like such fun!
