So that’s fun.

It’s been quite a year! In many ways, full of good things. In many ways, just straight-up exhausting. I am grateful. I look back on this year and I see so much that was good and exciting and fun.

It’s been a couple of months since I did an Adventures and Episodes / -ishness style post, so let’s dive in, shall we?

January/February Ishness 2023

Yes, I know I rebranded these posts “Adventures and Episodes” a while back. But I’ve been feeling nostalgic lately, and kind of missing the “good old days” of blogging. There was a community of us back there a few years ago, and while it’s gotten a little swallowed up by the other varieties of social media and gnat-like attention spans… I still enjoy the blogosphere. And I miss what it used to be.

And among those things I miss are the tags and collaborative sort of nature of posts. Like “Ishness.”

So here I am, throwing back a few years, climbing up into the attic, and rubbing the dust off of something that I always loved. And maybe it’s still shiny and precious under there, like so many things tend to be. I hope so.

And I’m taking this moment to go back to good, old-fashioned blogging.

A Newsy, Update-y Post About All the Writerly Things

Dear Reader, you are awesome, do you know that?

Seriously. I just want to thank you all for your patience with me. I know I’m not the fastest writer in the world (faaaaar from it!) And I know that I’ve had a tendency to disappear for months on end lately. This year has been really weird, because I’ve felt like I had very little to share about… and yet, so, so, SO much work is getting done behind the scenes.
