Here is our family’s list of 20 episodes for indoctrinating erm, hooking your adult friends on this sweet, clever, brilliant, beautiful cartoon show that manages to pack a whole lot of fun, life lessons, and real-life scenarios into their short 7-minute episodes. We have watched these specific episodes in this order (or close to this order) with 14 different adults now, and all of them have fallen in love with the series the way we did. It’s not a guarantee… but it does come with a high success rate for us.

The Jolly Genre Jubilee Tag

It’s been a while since I played a good game of blog tag, and so I was riffling through my stacks of blog posts and potential blog posts and found this one that I was tagged for… um… two years ago.

Wow.

I have all these great intentions, you know. I just have been having a hard time keeping up with all the things the past couple of years. I blame all the writing of the books. That’s not a bad thing. It just means that there are seasons when this place is a bit quiet.

Adventures and Episodes: Summer 2023 Edition

“In sweet summertime…”

Ahhh, summer. For many, this is a time of refreshment, of relaxation, of vacation, of taking time away.

For others it’s a time of busy-ness, of frantically-paced rushing about to get all the fun things accomplished.

For some of my family members, it’s the most stressful time of year at their jobs.

For me, it’s kind of a combination. I want to spend summer at the lake, just swimming, relaxing, and soaking it all in. But as my kids get older, I am finding it harder and harder not to fill up the summer months with activities. Good activities. Fun activities… but time-consuming activities all the same.

All in all, it’s been a great summer so far, so let’s dive in and see what’s been going on, shall we?

Sometimes, we mess up

I had a whole graphic made up and an exciting sale planned for the 4th of July

I was going to announce it today on my blog. It even had a catchy title, “Four on the Fourth.”

My plan was to have 4 of my novels discounted to 99 cents each across the 4th of July as a way to celebrate our nation’s Independence Day, one of my favorite holidays.

But somehow… I messed up.
